After 9 years, I carry baby again! So happy that my friend has given birth so successfully and smooth. From the photo, you can see that he has big eyes, just look like the father. He has small face which look like the mothers.
Shocking News
Today I meet my friend at Ikea Alexander. I have a few stuff to get for my house. We meet at the cafe as she has not eaten her breakfast. I am very shock when she breaks the news to me by 3 parts. Till now, I am still shock and cannot really accept it. I feel quite sad and happy at the same time for her. I didn’t know she has been through such a tough life. I have mixed feeling. I get to know a few of my ex-colleauges are going through this situation too. Why is the adult so complicated? I am confused…….

I have taken quite a number of photos and lazy to blog it. Since I have the time now, I like to post my favourite. My colleague told me that a shop in Ion is selling all the Japan food stuff. She gave me a bar of the chocolate corn. I like it very much and went there to buy it since they were having 10% discount.
I bought this milk tea while they were having a promotion at Toa Payoh Hub. The shop name is called Come Back. Very unique name. I like their milk tea but I prefer Koi pearl. kekeke…..
Here are the 1st bag for my boys. I have wanted to get the bag for them. However, I did not see one bag that I like it. Moreover this is my 1st time purchased online without seeing the bag. I bought from Timbuk. I like their simple design.
Wisdom Tooth Surgery
My appointment is 9.30 am and I take a light breakfast. When I step into the dental clinic, my heart start to beat fast. My dentist ensures me that it is not pain. Before it starts, I take 11 pills. 2 is pain-killer and 1 is for swell. I am not sure about the 8 pills. I drink half cup of water to take all the pills. My dentist asks me not to drink too much as he is afraid I will go toilet during the surgery.
He is quite good. Before he starts to do anything, he will tell me first and let me prepare. I take 6 jabs and he will say that this jab is pain on this part. So far, only 2 jabs is slight pain. It takes about 5 min to extract the top wisdom teeth. As for the bottom wisdom teeh, he takes about half an hour. He will drill my teeth and pull out half of the teeth. Later he says that it is difficult to take out the rest. I tell myself that I trust him and must trust him that he can do it. After the surgery is done, he shows me my tooth. Oh my god, it is so big and with long root. The other teeth is cut into 3 parts to take out. The root is curl that’s why it is difficult to take out.
I change my cloth bud every 45 mins. It almost stop bleeding about 9 pm. So far so good. I use tea spoon to drink my porridge and I can’t really open my mouth big to talk.
PSLE Results
Every parents are so excited about their children’s result. The principal comes at 11.55 am and give a speech. He starts to talk about the result at 12 noon. Zhang Wen Han from 6A is top 5 students in Singapore. Their school is in position 11 in Singapore. Not bad. They did quite well this year. 99.8% pass. Only 1 person fails the PSLE.
From a distance, I can see my son collects his result and not very happy. I am worry for him. He has 3A and 1A*. To me, I feel that he has done a good job. He can get better if he tried a bit harder. Most of his friends have higher aggreate than him. That’s why he is not happy.
Korean Drama – Boys Over Flower
Yesterday was the 1st espoide of F4 in KSB channel. Oh my! Those young guys are so handsome. I am attracted to the volin guy. He has an eye that talk. Hehehe…….. Nowadays, I watch Korean shows rather than Hong Kong or Taiwan. The actors and actress are so handsome and beautiful. Some actress have natural beauty.

It has been quite sometimes that I did not bring my mom for a good meal. Due to the time constraits, I choose Novena which near to our house and in time for my elder boy comes back from school. We select the set meal for 2 persons at $19.80++. Not bad and I like their service even though there is no table for 2. We take 6 seaters and share with the other 2 persons. Cable Car Ride
They are having promotion now till 15th August 2009. The children below 12 years old have free ride and accompany by an adult. Since the little boy wants to take a ride, we take this opportunity as we can save on their ride fee. We pay $38 for 2 adults and two ways (just go one big round and come to Mount Faber).

Happenings
So many things have happened in this month. Firstly, Li Choo from AR is leaving us after working for almost 15 years. Then follow by Doris who is OA. She is chit chat partner and make me happy. Now Alicia is leaving too. Why out of the sudden so many of them are leaving? They are not leaving for another job. So sad. I miss the most is Doris. We always chit chat in the early morning.
Another bad news is that my hubby. Recently he has been feeling well after knowing that he has high blood pressure and cholestrol. I went with him to TTSH A&E on Monday night after he said that he sweat while eating his dinner and blur vision. We reached there at 8 plus and reached home at 4 am. The doctor wanted to monitor him for a few hours. I didn’t know that so many people went to A&E and most of them have to stay for a few hours to monitor. When we went to the award, most of them are male.
Oh! I have found another thing. That’s the PaperMarket at Raffles City Shopping Centre at B1. You can find the shop once you come out from the mrt station and go down to the escalate. I was just wondering around during lunch time. I saw the shop name “PaperMarket”. Very interesting name and it seems like selling scrapbooking stuff. Then I saw a lady who is very familiar and realized that this is another branch from LP. Oh no, I think I will spend more time and money in that shop since it is so near to my office.

I don’t know why I like this brand. It gives an impression of very old brand. So tempted to buy this brand and read more of these products. I bought the following and use it. My face always very oily even though I use those products from the doctor. After applying the lotion, my face did not show so oily. I like it! Now I have another problem and that’s pigmentation. Still thinking of buying another range.

Japanese Dining Sun at Chijmes
Iris and I take half day for lunch and shopping. Since I have a lot of OT time, we decide to go for buffet. Due to our last minute decision, we don’t know where to eat. I remember Poh Chen did mention the Japanese food at Chijmes (2nd floor) is nice. So we decide to go there. When I step in, wow, I like the place. It is a good place to chit chat and enjoy the food slowly. You will never expect the building looks so old and yet the place is so nice with high ceiling.

Tired Day
We wake up early in the morning to have our breakfast at near by coffee shop. I have thosai and the boys have roti prata. Then we go to Plaza Singapura to see the body world’s of reinbeer. We walk and shop till lunch time. One wants to eat KFC and the other one wants to eat McDonald. So they have what they want. The elder boy can eat by himself at McDonald and I accompany the little boy. My stomach is not feeling well and didn’t eat anything. The little boy gets himself a box of Binacle set.
Later we take a bus to Suntec for the book fair. The boys buy some story books and I just get the stationery. The whole afternoon in the book fair. After that, we walk around Suntec and have some cakes at Secret Recipe. I am very tired. It shows that I am lack of exercise.
1st Blog of 2010
This is my 1st blog of the year and last some backlog. On the 1st day of the year, we went to National Museum which they have opened house. It opened at 10 am and we reached there at 9.45 am. To my surprise, the quene has already formed and it is quite long. We are lucky as we have the chance to see the Quest for Immortality The World Of Ancient Egypt for free. Otherwise we have to pay $15 for each. Anyway, this is our 1st time to National Museum.

If you purchase above $150, you have $20 discount and the gift for above $100. Since I signed up for the event, they gave me Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo and Light Weight Body Lotion. I like this brand because you don’t feel it very sticky for the products. I bought Ultimate White Surface Brightening Exfoliator ($52) and Ultimate White Intensive Whitening Essence ($84). This month I spent a lot on the face products. I try to buy when there is voucher.
Chinatown
My little boy says that his Chinese teacher wants them to go Chinatown and see the lighting for CNY. He wants me to bring there either today or tomorrow. So I decide to choose today as I still have a day to rest on Sunday. When we walk to Bus 143 quene, a notice said that the bus will diverted because the road is closed. Oh no, we have no choice but to take train. A2 is so happy as he likes to take train ride. We take NSL and change to NEL to Chinatown station. It is very crowd. We walk around and buy nian guo for my mom and also get a pair of jean and T-shirt for A2. Then we look for our dinner at the hawker. It is so crowd and difficult to find a place. I think we walk for 10 min before we can get a seat to eat fish noodle for $8.
A2 is very happy to watch the variety show and the fire work. It is so nice…….. This is my first time to Chinatown and watch the lighting. Usually I don’t go crowded place.
Earth Day @ Toa Payoh Sensory Park
Pei Chun Public School and RC has organised Earth Day today. After our breakfast at the hawker, we go to the park to support the school event. There a quite a number of games stores. The garden where the RC grows fruits and vegetables are opened for us to visit. Here are some of the photos taken. The sun is extremely hot today.
Parents Meet Teachers Day
I have choosen the early slot because of last year experience. Those parents never follow the time according. Each parents are given ten min to talk. They should think of the teachers who have to talk for the whole day without stopping.
A2′s teacher has given me the time at 7.30 am. I like it because I am the first one even the 2nd slot parent are not there after I am done it. My boys always have writing problem. Both teachers complaint about their handwriting. A2 is weak in his grammer and problem maths. I need to give him some assesement to do during this holiday. The Chinese teacher is quite pleased with his Chinese and said that he can get above 90 if he put in extra effort.
I always have problem with A1′s teacher. The parents always jump quene. I reach the class at 7.45 am as my time to meet the teacher is 7.50 am. Then I see a parent talk to Mr Chong. I wait outside again. I see a mom come out and ask what she suppose to meet Mr Chong. Her time is 8 am and she is the first to meet Mr Chong. Oh no! not again. Does that mean I have to wait for very long? I am not sure to see the Chinese teacher first or Mr Chong. Anyway, I will wait to see Mr Chong as he is more difficult to catch him. It is pleasant talking to him. A1 is weak in Composition and comparsion in Science. He lost 10 marks on it. His Composition is touch and go stuff. Mr Chong is unable to see the complete picture of the Compositon. Same as the Chinese as he tends to write while like talking. Again he needs to improve his handwriting especially ‘a’ and write like ‘u’.
YOG Flame at Toa Payoh
It has been quite sometimes that I did not update my blog. I spend most of time in facebook playing games. I can’t image if I get iphone. I think I will play games all day long. Hahaha……
This is my first time using my new baby, DSLR, to take these photos. I am quite happy with the quality of the pictures. I need to time to attend the basic course to know more about this camera.
My little boy told me that he has to wear PE attire to the school for YOG Flame. I remember reading the newsletter and it did not mention going to the school. While my boy goes to the school, I wait at the overhead bridge to catch the sight of YOG Flame. It starts to rain heavily. When the flame passes by Lor 6, it has sort of stop. Thank God! Otherwise those people involved in the YOG flame will get very wet. Here are some of the photos.
Lowepro Camera Bag
When I bought my Nikon D3000, it came with a free bag. I have used it a few time. Whenever I bring this camera bag out, it always rain and bulky. It looks like very professional too. I am still learning how to use it and prefer a smaller bag. My colleague told me to buy from Cathay Photo. I go to the shop during my lunch time. There are so many camera bags and cater for different need. At last, I buy this bag which can put in my camera.
